In the interest of true confessions I must admit that when I heard about Respond B2B I was initially hesitant to give it a try. Then I decided to think of Respond B2B as a marketing test. For a modest investment of $500 I would have a clear idea of whether Respond B2B works.
Don’t get me wrong $500 is real money but one can easily spend that same amount on a yellow page listing and never talk to a single person. Anyway...here is the results of my test: I closed one of the first leads they sent me for $15,000. Respond.com definitely delivered for me.

My firm is a professional Accounting firm that gets a lot of business from word of mouth marketing. Well, Respond B2B is almost like having another client out there raving about your business to their friends! We get a lot of new clients from the service that allow us to get into new areas that previously we would not have found.
I have had nothing but great service from the team at Respond.com and they have helped me clearly define my target market and what types of work I am looking for! I would highly recommend Respond B2B to all of my clients so that they can use the service to increase their own customer bases and increase their bottom line!

In my industry, Internet marketing, the competition is extremely heavy in the sponsored (paid advertising) side. Many advertisers drive up the cost per click and per impression all of which drives up our cost per acquisition.
Respond B2B has now become a valuable part of our marketing mix. Respond has positioned themselves to drive qualified traffic to their online destinations and set up lead capture pages to further qualify each and every lead. They offer several options in which we can list our business to achieve maximum exposure. Moreover, they have an ‘open door’ policy that allows their customer service representatives to listen to the needs and recommendations of their clients. If you have any issues regarding your results the reps are empowered to take action right then and there. Sure, some of the leads may be a little on the pricey side, but, the value proposition is a strong one. Excellent customer service and excellent leads create excellent value.
To some extent one could view Respond B2B as a direct competitor of my firm. Instead, I feel that they have become an integral part of my marketing efforts. If you are looking for leads delivered directly to your email box or phone you should call Respond B2B.

A pay per call success story. Recently on March 19th, 2007 I received a call through Respond B2B from a business interested in 100 Lanyards for an event and needed them by April 1, 2007. After speaking with the potential client and assuring them we could meet their deadline as well as their budget, they placed the order and we are in the process of producing the order for their delivery deadline. Once again the Respond B2B service has proved to be a more than valuable and we look forward to receiving more calls in the near future with anticipated success.

Return on Investment. Return on Investment. Return on Investment. If I could use three words to describe what Respond is and how it works it is Return on Investment (ROI). What do I mean by that? Respond is one of the few advertising vehicles where you know in black and white whether it works or whether it doesn’t. We provide your business with online leads, website clicks and direct phone calls. What you need to look at is I spent x, y or z amount with Respond, what was the value that I received.
Then answer the following: Did I gain any new customers? What repeat business can I expect to receive from them? Even if I didn’t close business, right this second was I able to start a relationship that may payoff in the future. Answer these questions to determine the value received. Then answer this final question, I spent $500 with Respond: Did I receive $500 worth of value? In most cases, the answer is going to be yes!

I just wanted to rave about the great service that is provided by Respond and its employees. When I say the great service, I mean both the service itself and the customer service. Let me explain each individually. First the service itself...I have tried just about every marketing program on the planet including all types of pay per click site like google and yahoo as well as many others. I had pretty much given up and did not do anything to market or advertise my business for a very long time thinking the traditional cold calling was the only real way to go as much as I hated it.
I came across Respond when I was doing a search on the web regarding my type of business to see about the competition. At first I was very reluctant to give Respond a try but decided it sounded like an original idea and thought it was worth another shot. To my joyful surprise I immediately starting getting QUALITY leads of businesses that wanted to hear back from me. When you consider a single ad in the newspaper cost more than $500 most of the time, this is the find of a lifetime. I am so excited about this service and the impact to my business I can't even express it fully.
Regarding the customer service, that too is exceptional. Usually with on-line services I have been involved with most if not all have made it nearly impossible to deal with a live person and if you do finally get one, they seem to want to get you off the phone as soon as possible. I have had a few instances where I have contacted the representatives at Respond (specifically Andrew and Jumana helped me) and their time and attention was truly fantastic. They both took the time to hear my questions and concerns and helped me every step of the way. They also made me feel like I could call anytime and they would be happy to help me.. You don't find service like that much any more ANYWHERE let alone at an on-line service.

During my five plus years at Respond I’ve seen many improvements to our technology. One the most exciting is our recently launched Live Call Transfers. Welcome to the first posting in what will hopefully be a series of helpful postings on Business to Business Marketing, Lead Generation, Business Directories, Respond and whatever else we can think of.
Business-to-business service providers have a wide range of tactics they can deploy to gain new clients or customers. Direct mail; cold calling; TV, radio or print advertising are all ways in which B2B services gain new customers. In the last 10 years, the Internet has become another strategy to boost business, through advertising, web site optimization and online lead generation.
Traditional Online Lead Generation means different things to different people so I‘m going to give you my definition. Simply put, online lead generation automatically sends information on prospective clients and their service needs to your e-mail inbox or to a web site account. Internet services such as Respond provide your business with an account where you can upload your business profile. Potential customers fill out a form online with their requirements for what kind of service they need, that potential client is matched with B2B providers for that service in their local area (or nationally, if the situation warrants), and the client‘s information is e-mailed to the matched B2B providers.
In its purest form we are a matching service -- Company A meet Company B. Company A has these needs and requirements. Company B supplies these services with these capabilities.
